...wrong city, whatevaaa
So...CHICAGO!! Ya'll knew I was going to blog about it...duh, this is me we're talking about. I think I'll do it in snippets instead of a word for word detailed description of every day...if you want that, you can call me.
THINGS I LEARNED
-Some hotel receptionists' idea of a "Water view" from a hotel room is kinda...off...but, priceless
-I can't walk without tripping
-It's called the "Windy City" for a reason. They don't lie.
-Chicago's wind makes me cry.
-Transparent elevators make my stomach churn
-My appetite gets funky when I'm nervous...I barely eat anything and I waste food. This is weird and uncomfortable for me...someone who eats all of my food and...all of everyone else's on a daily bases.
-I've gotten oddly used to auditions...or at least semi-comfortable with them. It was the first audition that I've been overly friendly towards everyone I came remotely in contact with (befriending pretty much every other person auditioning), and it was the first audition that EVERYONE auditioning was incredibly sweet and friendly and there were NO DIVAS (WHAT??!! DOES THAT HAPPEN?!?!)
-i can actually sorta kinda maybe DANCE...with the help of legwarmers
-I can't beat a boy at peeing. But, one day I will. This is a promise.
-I'm annoying...wait, I already knew that.
-the world looks like a black and white squared off checkered-ish board of fabulousness when it's covered and snow...viewed from a plane.
-plane rides TO Orlando are like...death. They're filled with bunches of children who scream and yell and kick you the ENTIRE way there because they are just so excited to see Mickey. Sorry kids to tell you this...but, he's doesn't even talk...and it's probably even a she.
-if I ever have a lot of money...I'm going to the 2 story gigantic Forever 21 and getting everything. It was the most incredible thing I've ever stepped foot in.
-don't be on autopilot and order a frappaccino at Starbucks. It's cold outside. Get apple cider. IDIOT
-the bumpy things at the end of streets are for blind people so, they know it's the end of the street...whoaaa
-the "el" is sketch city.
THINGS I ALREADY KNEW
-Snow is fun.
-Chicago is cold
-my mom, aunt, and cousin make me smile.
-auditions make me nauseous-leg warmers make you hardcore...and awesome
-Clark Haywood is the shiznit. I could spend long hours staring into his honey chestnut eyes...i mean, when i'm not staring at the floor or that...thing...over there...
JUST THINGS
-It was perfect.
-It was a dream
-I was genuinely upset and saddened when I had to leave and say goodbye. It's been awhile since I've been on a trip and been saddened by the end. Usually I'm ready to go home. But, I honestly didn't want to go home. I wasn't ready for it to end...I'm still sad, but, I'll get over it :)
-Lake Michigan is so gorgeous...it's actually BLUE
- I wake up too early-extreme adaptations of classic literature-esque plays should not be done.
-Art museums have never been as awesome as history and other kinds of museums
-I <3 Chicago!!!
Hmm...that's all I can think of right now.
Let's see...random facts. Donnaka is getting more pregnant as the days go by!! I'm going to be an AUNT!! Aunt Shara!! YAY!! It's a boy...which is lame. I wish it was gonna be a Shara the second. hahah Oh, well, boys are cool too. I just got notification that I am hired for Student Life's AT2AP for another summer! Part Deux...should be interesting. I'm excited though. I leave in two months for some more camp action! I can barely walk. I think I pulled muscles around my shins or have shin splints or something wretched...my mom was trying to massage my legs and I was screaming bloody murder. I tried not to, but, it hurts pretty bad. This will all fade with time...and hopefully a good nights sleep.I love you all!!
